What Makes Elmo Live So Much Cooler Than Tickle Me Elmo Extreme (Elmo TMX)
What makes this year’s Elmo Live so much cooler than Tickle Me Elmo Extreme (Elmo TMX)? Well, a lot actually. First of all, Elmo Live is a new generation of interactive animatronics. Not only does Elmo Live captivate with his usual wit, singing and laughing his way into you heart, but his new brain allows him to use life-like movements to add to his expression and realism. Not only that, bu Elmo Live actually responds to your voice.
If that’s not enough, new Elmo Live can sit down and stand up by himself. He uses human like gestures while he tells you and your child stories. He even know if he’s fallen over. When he does, guess what? He asks you to help him up. How cool is that?
I am sure that Kevin Clash had no idea what his new Sesame Street character would become when he brought Elmo to life in 1984 (although it is not widely known that Elmo’s puppet as been around since the 70’s!). Since his “birth”, Elmo has appeared in many venues outside Sesame Street and his own movies. He has been seen anywhere from The West Wing to Martha Stewart. Emo remains the only Muppet to have testified in front of Congress!
